How it works
By registering, you help refugees find safe homes while coordinating with IOM and property owners to meet their requirement.
-
1
Create a profile
Express your interest in becoming an NGO partner on our platform via our form
-
2
Create refugee profile
Once your profile is created and approved by an IOM staff member, you can create an NGO collaborator to access the platform, create refugee profiles, and receive a notification by email when reviewed and approved by IOM.
-
3
Apply for properties
Review all the available properties on our property listing section, and apply for properties based on requirements and needs of the refugees you support.
-
4
IOM endorses applicants
IOM receives and reviews the applications for housing. You receive a notification by email when your applications are sent to landlords for their review.
-
5
Landlord reviews applicants sent by IOM
Landlords receive and review the applications and decide to accept or refuse candidates. If candidates are selected, offline visits of the housing options are organized and you will update the status of the process on the dashboard.
-
6
Property is rented out
The direct lease agreement is established between the landlord and the refugee.
-
7
NGOs assess matching experience
NGOs can continue to support refugee for 6 months after the signing of the lease agreement if necessary, and depending on the NGOs support capacity. An evaluation moment can be conducted 6 months after to assess the matching experience on the PATHS platform.
